What this does
Workspace settings cover options that apply to everyone, as distinct from your own personal profile preferences.
Before you begin
Workspace Settings requires the settings.manage permission (Administrators by default).
Turning workspace email notifications on or off
Administrator permission required
settings.manage permission.- Open Settings in the sidebar.
- Use the email notifications switch to turn sending on or off workspace-wide.
Note
Turning this off doesn't affect in-app notifications, which always continue — it only stops the email side. This is separate from an individual's own email preference; both have to be on for that person to receive emails.
Checking delivery status
If email notifications aren't arriving, the Settings page shows a delivery status view with recent send attempts and their outcome, without exposing technical error detail that isn't actionable for day-to-day troubleshooting. Failed deliveries can be retried from here.
Common issues
Emails still aren't sending after I turned the toggle on. Check the delivery status table for recent failures, and confirm the affected person's own profile-level email toggle is also on.
